2.5 AC Cable Connection under a Free-Access Floor
(Only for Use inside Japan and General Use
outside Japan)
If AC cables are connected to the power distribution box (or main unit, PCI_Box)
under a free-access floor, it is recommended the underfloor height be 300 mm (11.8
in.) or more in consideration of the shape of the AC cable connector, cable bending
radius (see Figure 2.17 (1)).
However, if the underfloor height is less than 300 mm (11.8 in.), place outlets
sideways (see Figure 2.17 (2)).
Prepare an outlet near the unit.
Remark 1: This drawing shows the Fujitsu 19-inch global rack with the main unit as
an example.
Remark 2: Values in ( ) are in inches.
