1 - Floppy disk indicator or SmartCard reader indicator 

Floppy disk indicator: 
The indicator lights up when the floppy disk drive of the device is accessed. You may only remove 
the floppy disk when the indicator is unlit. 
SmartCard reader indicator: 
The indicator lights up as soon as the SmartCard reader is ready for operation. 
The indicator flashes when the SmartCard is accessed. 

2 - CD-ROM or DVD indicator 

The indicator lights up when the CD-ROM or DVD drive is accessed. You may only remove the 
CD/DVD when the indicator is dark. 

3 - Power-on indicator 

– 

The indicator is green: 
The device is on. 

i

 

The display can also light up green if the device has been switched off by 
holding the ON/OFF switch (see "The device cannot be switched off with the 
ON/OFF switch").
