SCSI/IME configuration program
Removable
Media Support
If you enable this function you can use removable media drives such as
a CD ROM drive in the same way like hard disk drives without installing
addtional software.
The default setting is

If you use this function, you may only remove the data media
of the removable media drive if the server is switched off.
CHS Mapping
Defines the mapping of the physical addressing of a hard disk to a logi-
cal addressing.
Spinup Delay
Defines the intervals for the spinup of the disk drives.
The default setting is [

When this feature is enabled, the SCSI devices which support this
function are not started by switching on the server until they receive a
"Start Unit" command from BIOS of the U320 SCSI controller.
This function is used to distribute the high starting currents of the SCSI
devices over a specific period and to release the power supply of your
server.

If several SCSI controller should be aktiv on the same SCSI bus, you
should enable this option.

If you use this function, you must assign different SCSI IDs to
the SCSI controller.
Termination
Control
The terminating resistors of the SCSI controller must be enabled.
