Working with the notebook

Installing a battery

1

►

Position the battery at the edge.

►

Push the battery into the battery slot until you feel it lock into place (1).

►

Complete the removal, see chapter

"Finishing component removal", Page 77

.

Module

Modulebay

Modules

The design of your notebook enables the

fl

exible use of notebook batteries and drives. The

following modules can be operated in the module bay of your notebook:

•

Second battery

•

Second hard disk drive

•

Optical drive

•

Blank slot (weight saver)

Only use modules designed for your notebook.

Do not use force when installing or removing the module.

Make sure that no foreign objects enter the module bay.

You can swap modules during operation. This means you do not
need to switch off the notebook.

To replace a module, simply click on the corresponding icon in the
task bar and then on

Exit

or

Select - Exit

.

The module can now be removed without any further actions being necessary.
