[Using the wired remote controller] (Option)

For the operation method, refer to the operating manual.

11. CHECK LIST

Pay special attention to the check items below when installing the indoor unit (s). After 
installation is complete, be sure to check the following check items again.

12. OPTIONAL KIT INSTALLATION (OPTION)

 WARNING

Regulation of cable differs from each locality, refer in accordance with local rules.

This air conditioner can be connected with the following optional kits. Refer to each instal-
lation manual for the method of installing optional parts.
• Wired remote controller
• Simple remote controller
• External connect kit

12.1. Wired remote controller (Simple remote controller)

Please refer to [6. ELECTRICAL WIRING].

12.2. External input and external output

Use a tool to cut off the terminal on the end of the wire, 
and then remove the insulation from the cut end of the 
wire.
Connect the wire with connecting wire with solder.

13. CUSTOMER GUIDANCE

Explain the following to the customer in accordance with the operating manual:

Starting and stopping method, operation switching, temperature adjustment, timer, air

Give the operating and Installation Manuals to the customer.

If the signal code is changed, explain to the customer how it changed (the system

14. ERROR CODES

If you use a wired type remote controller, error codes will appear on the remote controller 
display. If you use a wireless remote controller, the lamp on the photo detector unit will 
output error codes by way of blinking patterns. See the lamp blinking patterns and error 
codes in the table below.
