Troubleshooting in TV mode 

Having this problem? 

Check the following points: 

No sound 

 

Check the volume setting. 

 

Check whether the device is muted. 

No picture, only static 

 

Check that the antenna cable is correctly 
connected. 

Reception may be poor. 

The picture is fuzzy. 

 

Check that the antenna cable is correctly 
connected. 

Reception may be poor. 

The picture has dark interference lines and a 
strong humming sound can be heard. 

There may be an interference signal on the 
antenna cable. 

 

Have the installation checked. 

A sheath current filter from the accessories 
trade can provide a remedy. 

The picture has shadows or ghost images

 

 

Check the antenna cable. 

Use a directional antenna instead of an 
omnidirectional antenna. 

The picture shows interference, false colours or 
line and picture shaking. 

 

Check whether the TV is set to the correct 
TV system (PAL or SECAM).
