The FibreCAT TX08 from Fujitsu Siemens Computers is a compact and extremely reliable tape automation system for small and
midsized companies which enables the cost-effective entry into the FibreCAT TX family
.
The FibreCAT TX08 is based on proven LTO technology, which provides large capacity, high speed and very small media costs. Depending on
your individual requirements you can either order it with an LTO2 or LTO3 half height drive. It has 2 magazines with 4 slots and a mail slot for
input and output of individual cartridges. The FibreCAT TX08 is only one U high whereas it offers up to 6.4 Terabyte compressed storage capacity
when equipping it with eight LTO3 cartridges. This translates into 8 days of automated data backup.
