Status indicators 

The status indicators provide information about the status of the power supply, the drives and the 
keyboard functions.

The meanings of the symbols are as follows: 

 

Indicator Wireless LAN 

The indicator lights up: the Easy Launch key   has been pressed. The wireless LAN 
module is switched on. 

 

Power-on indicator 

The indicator lights up: The notebook is on. 

 

Energy-saving mode indicator 

The indicator lights up: The system is in the energy-saving mode. 

 

Drive indicator 

The indicator lights up: one of the drives (e.g. hard disk, CD/DVD) is being accessed. 

 

Battery indicator 

The indicator lights up: The battery is charging.
