USING SET-UP
You can set the SET-UP in , and mode.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu screen.
2. Press or to select [SET-UP].
3. Press the
OK button.
The SET-UP menu appears.
4. Press or to select a menu option and then press or to change the setting.
5. Press the OK button.
SET-UP Menu Options
Settings Display Factory Default Explanation
LCD -5 to +5 0 This option adjusts the brightness of the LCD
BRIGHTNESS monitor.
DATE/TIME YEAR, MONTH, YEAR: 2003 Set current date and time.
DAY, TIME MONTH: 01 See p.17.

LANGUAGE ENGLISH, ENGLISH Specify in which language menus and
DEUTSCH, messages are to be displayed on the LCD

BEEP ON, OFF ON Specify whether or not beeps are to be
generated when buttons are pressed.
FORMAT FORMAT, - Format an xD-Picture Card if it is inserted;
MEDIA CANCEL otherwise, format the internal memory.
To prevent recorded images and valuable
data from being accidentally erased from an
xD-Picture Card, make sure they are
transferred into your computer hard disk
before formatting.
FILE NO. ON, OFF OFF Reset file number.
MEMORY OFF: Reset the file number to 0001.
ON: Does not reset the file number. For the
next captured image, the file number will be
assigned the last recorded file 1.
