Replacing Ink Cartridges

5.2 Replacing Ink Cartridges

5.2.1 Checking Ink Levels

You can check the ink level in the Notification Message.

Displays the Notification Message.

“2.4.1 Notification Message Display Method” (Page 2-15)

Check how much ink remains.

When the ink remaining falls below the minimum value, the ink light on the front of the printer

turns on.

Also, an error message is displayed on the computer’s screen.

Icon

Explanation

There is sufficient

ink remaining.

The remaining ink
level is less than
20%.

There is

insufficient ink

remaining (less
than 1%).

Unknown because
the printer is

offline.

Click the [OK] button.

The Notification Message is closed.
