Compact design
The 2.1 million pixel FinePix2300 offers a compact and lightweight design with the ease of
use of a traditional point-and-shoot camera. Its small, rectangular shape fits in the palm of
your hand and slips easily into pockets and purses.
Fully automatic
Select the Auto shooting mode and position the image in the optical viewfinder or brightly
lit LCD monitor, then press the button and let the FinePix2300 do the rest. This is an ideal
mode to make the most of every photo-taking opportunity. High-quality pictures are
ensured by autofocus, auto flash, auto exposure and auto white-balance features.
Various playback functions
In addition to Single Frame Playback, the FinePix2300 has other functions such as Auto
Playback that displays your images in the order you took them, while the 4

The FinePix2300 has a USB digital interface for easy transfer

Long-lasting power allowing many shots
The FinePix2300 utilizes four AA alkaline batteries or NiMH or
NiCd rechargeable batteries. It is capable of taking a maxi-
mum of 730 shots with the flash used half the time and the
LCD set to off.

FinePix Printer NX-500
The NX-500 uses Fujifilm’s original Thermo-
Autochrome (TA) system to achieve photo-
realistic quality. Along with its 306-dpi thermal
head, the newly-developed TA paper delivers
whiter whites and an improved gloss finish,
enabling the NX-500 to produce photo-realis-
tic quality prints with vivid colors and sharper
contrast. A USB interface for connecting a PC
and a SmartMedia™ card slot for
direct printout are also available.
LCD monitor
The 1.6-inch D-TFD color LCD monitor allows
you to check your shots right away, and dis-
plays information such as the current record
mode, frame number, flash setting and the
date. If you don’t want to keep the image, you
can erase it to clear the space on the memory
card. To save battery power, the LCD monitor
remains off until the Display button is pressed
after turning on the camera.
FinePixViewer
The FinePix2300 comes with new
FinePixViewer software. Simply connecting
the camera and PC with the USB cable
allows you to check and transfer the images
on the PC display. The FinePixViewer also
lets you connect to the Internet to access
Fujifilm’s Internet services*.
