Shutter Speed
For best result, shutter speed should approximately equal the time
it takes for the fl ash to fi re the selected number of times. Shutter
speed can be calculated as follows:
Shutter speed = number of lashes ÷ frequency
For example, if the fl ash is set to fi re 20 times at a frequency of 4 Hz,
choose a shutter speed around 5 s.

Note that the fl ash may display a temperature warning and
temporarily suspend operation after being fi red multiple times
in succession (

For best results, use a tripod, a remote release, and an EF-BP1
battery pack.
