About the Ground Fault Interrupter
The printer has a ground fault interrupter on its rear left side.
In the event of leakage current, the ground fault interrupter will automatically cut off the
power circuit to prevent leakage current, a short, or a fire from occurring.
If the interrupter trips (if the <RESET> button pops up), check and correct as necessary the
insulation condition of the electrical system of the printer and then press the <RESET>
button.
If the insulation condition of the printer is not corrected, the interrupter trips again
immediately. In such a case, contact our Customer Support Center or your dealer.
Once a month, turn off the printer and test if the interrupter is functioning normally. Using a
failed interrupter can cause electric shock.
If your interrupter is not functioning normally, contact our Customer Support Center or your
dealers.
