The [Multi-Link2] tab window on the Communication Setting screen allows you to view and configure
multi-link2, multi-link2 (Ethernet), and 1 : n multi-link2 (Ethernet) settings.
* The [Multi-Link2] tab window is available only when the connection mode is multi-link2, multi-link2
(Ethernet), or 1 : n multi-link2 (Ethernet).
Multi-link2
• For the master station
Item Description
Local Port No.
Displays the local port number of the V9 series unit. The port number of the master
station is “1”. (Cannot be changed.)
Send Delay Time
Specify a delay time that elapses before the V9 series unit sends the next command
after receiving data from the PLC. Normally use the default setting (0).
Total
Displays the total number of V9 units connected in multi-link2 connection. (Cannot be
changed.)
Retry Cycle
Set the cycle interval at which the master station sends an inquiry for restoration to a
slave that has encountered a problem and is disconnected.
Baud Rate Displays the baud rate for between V9 series units. (Cannot be changed.)
Target Port No. Displays the port for connecting to the slave station. (Cannot be changed.)

After changing the settings,
press the [Apply] switch to
confirm the settings.
Changes over the display of
the communication settings
between PLC1 to PLC8.
Indicates the maker,
model, and
connection port of
PLCx.
Pressing each setting field
brings up the system
keyboard to be used for
configuration.
