The attached extinguisher unit is a 9kg ABE dry chemical powder
unit. This means it is suitable for fighting a range of fires
including electrical fires and those that involve flammable and
combustible liquids. The unit is sealed in a plastic bag. This
should not be removed as it prevents contaminants and
corrosion.
The extinguisher must be maintained every six months and be
emptied, pressure tested and refilled every three years.
The fire rating is equal to 6A: 80B: E
6; Class A fires
