Recovery
With this special function, you can check your hearts recovery rate after a training session. This is a very important
indication for the physical condition of your body. Try to improve your recovery rate with regular training sessions.
The aim is, to calm down to a normal pulse frequency (frequency, when you are not in motion) as quickly as possible.
To check your recovery rate, you need to keep your hands onto the hand pulse-sensors (or keep wearing a chest
belt) after your exercise. Now press the button “RECOVERY”. The computer will start to countdown 60 seconds (fig.
17). During this period the computer will constantly measure your heart rate through the hand sensors. After this
minute, your recovery rate will be displayed on the display. The range is F1.0 to F6.0 (fig. 18), whereby F1.0 is very
good and F6.0 is insufficient. Improve your value by intense and regular training!
After the recovery function is finished, press “RECOVERY” again to return to normal operation mode.

Body fat measurement
With this device you may measure your body fat. However, we strongly recommend to consult your physician before
starting this body fat measurement in order to clarify if such a measurement by electrical current is suitable for you. If
misused or during power peaks measured values may be lost or can be displayed wrongly. A body fat measurement
is only possible after an exercise of before beginning an exercise (stop mode). Select the body fat mode (press
“body fat”) – a “U” will appear along with a memory slot no. (fig. 19). Then the measurement will start (fig. 20 & 21).
Keep holding both hands on the sensors throughout the measurement. If a pulse is detected, a display like in fig. 22
will appear. After the measurement, you BMI (Body-Mass-Index, fig. 23), the body far percentage (fig. 24) and a
symbol (fig. 25) will appear.
Hints for the shown results:
Almost not one measurement of body fat will show the same results like before. Please keep in mind that (similar to
blood pressure measurement) the smallest movements or surrounding influences or also your daily constitution will
have a strong influence upon the results. So, it is normal if you have different results for one person within several
measurements. Therefore the shown results are always only indications to give you hints for your body constitution
and will help you to find the most effective way of training your body. The displayed values should only be regarded
as evidence of your physical condition in order to support you finding your individual best way of exercise.
