LEDs
FRITZ!Powerline 500E has three LEDs that display the operat-
ing status:
LED

Meaning
on
FRITZ!Powerline has electrical power
flashing
FRITZ!Powerline is restarting or confi-
guring security settings
flashing (every
15 seconds)
FRITZ!Powerline is on standby
off
FRITZ!Powerline has no electrical
power
on
The network port (LAN port) is occup-
ied
off
No network cable is connected, or
the device connected to the network
cable is switched off
on
FRITZ!Powerline is connected with
the powerline network and sending
or receiving data
off
FRITZ!Powerline did not detect any
compatible powerline devices or did
not detect any devices that use the
same network key
If you do not want to use the LEDs, you can switch them off in
the AVM FRITZ!Powerline program or in the user interface of a
connected FRITZ!Box.
