Measurement of the Impeller–Pump Casing Clear-
ance
Prerequisites
– Pump cover has been removed.
– Pump casing is connected firmly to the lantern.
– The impeller has been mounted and the impeller nut tight-
ened.
Procedure
1. Measure the clearance Z between the pump casing
and
the impeller
using vernier calipers.
