DOOR REMOVAL/REVERSAL
17. Tighten the top hinge screws and
check the door gasket for an open
seal condition (gap between the
gasket and the cabinet flange).
Look for open areas between the
gasket and the cabinet flange.
Gasket should seal against the
cabinet all the way around including top
and bottom
18. Should an open seal condition exist,
try to massage the gasket to make
sure it is seated into the channel.
19. If the open seal condition still exists,
you may need to flip the gasket. In
this case, remove the gasket from
the door by pulling it out. Rotate
the gasket half a turn (180 degrees).
Reinstall the gasket by inserting the
corners first, and then work toward
the middle assuring it is fully seated
in the channel.
20. Flip the toe grille and reinstall.
21. Plug in the electrical power cord and
turn the refrigerator temperature
control to the center. Adjust the
setting as necessary.
IMPORTANT
If the condition still exists, try heating
the gasket with a hair dryer with the
door closed. Use caution and be careful
not to damage the interior door panel
or gasket by applying too much heat.
