Oven Controls
1. Traditional Cooking Modes:
Your
oven has the following traditional cooking
modes: Bake, Broil Hi and Broil Lo. See the
Cooking Modes section for more information.
2. Clean
See the Cleaning the Oven section
for important information about using these modes.
3. Start:
Must be pressed to start any
cooking, cleaning, or timed function.
4. Cancel/Off:
Cancels ALL oven operations
except the clock and timer.
5. Cook Time:
Counts down cooking time
and turns off the oven when the cooking
time is complete. Press the Cook Time pad,
use the number pads to program a cooking
time in hours and minutes, then press Start.
This can only be used with Traditional Bake,
Convection Bake, Convection Bake Multi,
and Convection Roast.
6. Clock:
Sets the oven clock time. Press
the + and - pads and hold for 3 seconds or
press Set Clock pad
(on
some
models).
Use
the + and - pads to program the clock. Press
Start to save the time.
7. Timer:
Works as a countdown timer.
Press the Timer pad and the + and - pads
to program the time in hours and minutes.
Press the Start pad. The oven will continue
to operate when the timer countdown is
complete. To turn the timer off press the
Timer pad.
8. Delay Time:
Delays when the oven
will turn on. Use this to set a time when
you want the oven to start. Press the
Delay Time pad and use the + and - pads
to program the time of day for the oven
to turn on. Press the desired cooking mode
and temperature then press Start. A cook
time may also be programmed if desired.
This can only be used with Traditional Bake,
and Self-Clean
9. Oven Light(s):
(on
some
models)
Turns the oven
light(s)
on or off.
10. Lock Controls:
(on
some
models)
Locks out the control so that pressing
the pads does not activate the controls.
Press and hold the Lock Controls pad or
press + and - pads and hold for 3 seconds
to lock or unlock the control.
Cancel/Off
is always active, even when the control
is locked.
Never block the vents
(air
openings)
of the
cooker. They provide the air inlet and outlet
that are necessary for the cooker to keep cool
and operate properly with correct combustion.
Air openings are located at the rear of
the hob, at the top and bottom of the oven
door, and at the bottom of the cooker.
