47–01 Inline Fuel Strainer
Replacing, Cummins
ISB02 and MBE900
Engines
NOTE: Vehicles with a Cummins ISB02 or
MBE900 engine have an inline fuel strainer. The
inline fuel strainer is located on the left-hand
frame rail under the cowl area.
1.
Remove the brackets on each end of the fuel
stainer.
2.
Remove the P-clip.
IMPORTANT: The fuel flow arrow on the fuel
strainer must be pointed toward the front of the
vehicle.
3.
Remove the strainer, and replace it with a new
strainer.
4.
Install the P-clip.
5.
Install the brackets on each end of the fuel
strainer.
