Using your DVR
Archiving Recordings
If you want to permanently save a recording, you can schedule it to be played out and recorded
on a VCR or another device connected to the VCR scart socket.
To archive recordings
1. Open the

: If your VCR or other recorder, supports automatic start, then at the
archive time
the
DVR will start the recorder. If not, you
MUST
set the timer in your VCR to start at the
archive
time
and run for the total length of all the recordings you have scheduled for playout.
The DVR will then playout all the recordings that you have scheduled, in the order you chose.
You can playout archive recordings whenever you like, but remember that you won’t be able to
view anything else on your TV. Recording events are unaffected.
