Basic info rmation fo r familiar ity
Every slide has multiple inflation valves, and (1) Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) on
each main structure. The typical slide will have (2) inflation valves for the body,
and (1) inflation vlave on each arm section of the slide. The body portion will
also have (1) Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) that actuates at 0.8 psi.
The leg structure will have (1 or 2) inflation valve(s) and (1) Pressure Relief Valve
(PRV) that actuates at .08 psi.
Our standard power is 230v/50 with Euro plug. These pumps have fittings that
will connect to the inflation valves, similar to the fittings found on the typical
fenders for your vessel.
When inflating your slide, be sure that someone is manning the air pump at all
times to prevent over inflation. The slide should be inflated to 0.8 psi and
allowed to balance back to the point that the PRV will not release air. The arms
should be inflated to 1.0 psi. There is no PRV on the arms, so be sure not to
over inflate them.
A properly inflated slide component will feel very solid and firm to the touch.
You should be able to slap it and hear a pinging sound. The PRV will start to
release air to prevent popping the structure, but the PRV WILL NOT RELEASE
air fast enough to prevent damage to the unit if someone is not paying attention to the air pump. If in
doubt, stop filling the slide and see if the PRV has started to release air. If the PRV is not releasing air,
stop inflating immediately, and allow the air to release. The valve will stop release once the pressure
in the inflatable reaches 0.8 psi.
Our standard Air Pump is the Bravo 2000
Electric Inflator. The pump has an inflatation
and a deflation port. Press the orange button
to run just the main motor, you can then press
the red button to switch on the booster to obtain
maximum performance.

Inside the packaging you will find (1) body inflatable,
(1) slide cover sheet (pre-attached), (2) inflatation pumps,
(4) marine grade lashing ropes with (6) carabiners, (4)
harness straps with (8) caribiners attached, (1) replace-
ment Airstair bladder, (10) repair patches, (1) pressure
gauage (may be shipped separately), and
these set up instructions.
