INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SLR2 SEATS
Level the seat by changing the adjustable
rubber feet to the desired moun
ti
ng height
(17”-19”). Tighten the lock nuts.
With the moun
ti
ng
fla
nges p
laced fl
ush
against the wall, mark the po
siti
on of the
three holes in each
fla
nge. Using a 1/8”
Carbide
ti
p drill bit (not provided), create
three moun
ti
ng holes each for the right and
left
moun
ti
ng
fla
nges.
4.
Moun
ti
ng the seat to the wall.
Holding the seat assembly in the down po
siti
on, make any necessary
fi
nal adjustments to the
adjustable rubber feet. With the feet res
ti
ng
fi
rmly on
the fl
oor,
ti
ghtly secure the two moun
ti
ng
fl
anges to the wall AND INTO 2” THICK, SOLID WOOD IN-WALL BACKING MATERIAL, using six (6)
#12 x 2-1/2” stainless steel screws (supplied by manufacturer).
5.
Check Seat for:
1) Proper up and down ope
rati
on.
2) Correct
fi
nished height.
3) Correct distance from wall.
4) Weight bearing.
Hardware provided:
(4) ¼”-20 X 2” Phillips Flat Head machine screws
(4) ¼”-20 Nylon Lock Nuts
(6) #12 X 2-1/2” Phillips Pan Head sheet metal screws
Tools required:
Tape measure, masking tape, power drill, 1/8” Carbide
tip
drill bit, marking pen/pencil, level, #3 phillips driver.
THIS COMPLETES THE INSTALLATION OF THE SLR2 SHOWER SEAT.
