OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

The wiring circuits for the automatic ramp conversion are protected from short circuits by a combination of fuses
and circuit breakers. This greatly reduces the chance of damage by electrical problems.
Checking and Replacing The Fuse
If the automatic ramp deployment is not working, check the placement and
condition of the fuse.
Note: The fuse for ramp operation is separate from the vehicle’s OEM fuse
block. It is located along a circuit leading from the battery.
To inspect the fuse:
•
Look at the silver-colored band inside the fuse.
•
If the band is broken or melted, replace it with a new one of the identical
size and rating.
To replace the fuse:
•
Remove the fuse cover.
•
Pull the fuse straight out.
•
Replace the fuse with a new one of the identical size and rating. Ensure
the fuse is inserted completely.
WARNING
Fuses and circuit breakers are marked with their ampere rating. Do not exceed the specified amperage rating
when replacing fuses and circuit breakers. Use of an oversized fuse or circuit breaker can result in a vehicle
fire. Consult your OEM vehicle manual for more information.
