with readily biodegradable oils such as rapeseed oil.
Assembling the machine
The GT-300AUS leveller is, in most cases, partially assembled at the factory so that
the main frame and blade are assembled with the associated hydraulic cylinder and
hoses. The same applies to the slewing bearing and wheel suspension.
Bolts, nuts and split pins, etc., are fitted on the parts of the machine where they are to
be used.
If your new GT-300AUS leveller is not partially assembled from the factory, an
assembly guide with accompanying photos is provided below to give a better visual
understanding and so an easier assembly. The assembly instructions can be used in
conjunction with the spare parts manual, which contains split drawings of the product.
Assembly instructions.
1.
Lubricate the blade's swivel disc and axle pin. (See Photo 1).
2.
The bar is lowered over the axle pin on the blade and the top of the disc is
lubricated. (See Photo 2).
3.
Spacers are placed on the blade's slewing bearing in the following order. (See
Photo 3 and Photo 4).
1. 2 x 15 mm. spacers.
2. 2 x. 3 mm. spacers.
3. 4 x 2 mm. nylon wearing plates
4. 2 x 15 mm. rings with lubrication nipples, pay attention to right/left side.
5. The whole thing is clamped together with 16 x M20 x 75 mm bolts, with
lock nuts
4. When fitting the three-point hitch, grease the end of the main frame before
inserting the three-point hitch over the main frame.
The outermost centre hole of the three-point hitch is positioned in front of the
innermost centre hole of the main frame and the corresponding assembly axle is
inserted from the bottom up through the three-point hitch. The assembly axle is
fastened by means of a locking nut at the top. (See Photo 5 and Photo 6).
A GT-300AUS leveller also comes with a drawbar that allows the leveller to be
connected to the tractor's drawbar.
The drawbar is mounted to the three-point hitch of the leveller with the tow pins
that can also be used for the lift arm balls. One end of the top rod is mounted on
the top rod mount on the three-point hitch and the other end is mounted to the
mount on the drawbar. The top rod can then be adjusted to a desired length so
that the height of the drawbar fits the user's tractor. (See Photo 7).
If the leveller has mechanical lateral displacement (standard), the stop axle is
mounted in one of the three adjustment holes on the drawbar.
If hydraulic lateral displacement is selected (optional equipment: 2528AUS), the
hydraulic cylinder is mounted in the bracket on the side of the main frame and
the hydraulic hoses are also mounted on the cylinder from the factory. The other
end of the hydraulic cylinder is mounted in the bracket on the side of the three-
