Changing the Settings
Viewing a Demonstration
Using the Setup menu, you can adjust
the type size, default state, shutoff time,
and screen contrast of this book.
The type size sets how large the charac-
ters appear on screen. The default state
sets the screen that appears when you
press
CLEAR
. The shutoff time sets how
long the Medical Book System platform
stays on if you forget to turn it off.
1. Press
MENU
until the main menus
appear.
2. Use the arrow keys to highlight
Set Type Size, Set Default State,
Set Shutoff
, or
Set Contrast
on
the Setup menu.
3. Press
ENTER
.
4. Use
or
to change the setting
and then press
ENTER
.
Or press
BACK
to leave the setting
unchanged.

what it can do.
