Hearing English Words
This digital book can pronounce aloud English words,
phrases, and sentences when it’s installed in a Digital
Book System with a speaker or earphone jack. Please
note, however, that only English words appearing in
this dictionary can be pronounced. Try this example.
1. Press
CLEAR

2. Type a word (e.g., international ).
3. Press
SPEC
to hear it.
4. Press
ENTER
to view its dictionary entry.
5. Press
SPEC
to hear the main word.
6. Press
ENTER
and then the arrow keys to
highlight a word (e.g., nations).
7. Press
SPEC
to hear the highlighted word.
8. Press
CLEAR
when done.
