How to Find Letters in Words

If you are not sure how to spell a word, you can
type a question mark in place of each unknown
letter. To type a question mark, press 

?

.

You can also type question marks in words to help
solve crossword puzzles and similar puzzle games.

1. Type a word with ?’s (e.g., 

?ac??o?

).

To erase a letter, press 

BACK

 or 

.

2. Press 

ENTER

.

The matching words appear in alphabetical
order.
A

3. Press 

 to see the other matching
