Changing the Settings
Viewing a Demonstration
or Tutorial
When using this dictionary, you
can adjust the screen contrast,
the shutoff time, and the type
size. The shutoff time is how
long your DMQ-450 stays on if
you forget to turn it off.
1. Press MENU.
2. Press ENTER to select
Settings.
3. Press or to highlight
Contrast, Shutoff, or Type
Size.
4. Press ENTER to select the
one you want.
5. Press or to highlight
a new setting and press
ENTER to select it.
Press BACK to leave the set-
ting unchanged.
6. Press CLEAR to return to the
Word Entry screen.
You can view a tutorial or a
demonstration of this dictionary
at any time.
1. Press MENU.
2. Press or to highlight
either Tutorial or View Demo.
3. Press ENTER.
To stop the demonstration or
exit from the Tutorial and go
to the Word Entry screen,
press CLEAR.
