studying new words can be very appealing for students and for
teachers, it can serve as a vehicle for motivating uninterested
students.
Note that in the games you can choose to play with either English
words or Spanish words.
You can save words to
My Word List
and play word games with them
in order to learn them better. You can play all the games on the list
except for
Word Train
with words from
My Word List
. Please note that
if you are playing

Gender Tutor
, you may see the

plays with the root form of
verbs and
Gender Tutor
requires nouns. If you do not have these in
My Word List
, then
Spanish

English Dictionary
will use all the words
in the dictionary in the language of your choice.
Students learning English can also learn the words on the
TOEFL
®
Test Word List
by choosing to play the games with that list.
Gender
Tutor
is always played with Spanish nouns and if you select the
TOEFL List you can only play with English words.
