Troubleshooting Tips

Here are some tips for correcting problems:

Check if all cables are connected properly.
For every activated device connected to any port of the switch, the corresponding switch LAN port status LED is lit.
For the DATALIGHT-Ports make sure, that all fibres are cleanly cut and fully (20mm with open clamp) pushed inside
the clamp. Check also the connections at connected devices

Make sure the network settings of the computer are correct.
In most cases, computers are configured to obtain an IP address through DHCP. If the network uses static IP addresses,
be sure that the switch and computer are configured with valid IP addresses. To connect to the web interface,
IP address oft he computer hast o be in the same subnet as the switch (e.g. switch: 192.168.0.xxx, computer: 192.168.0.xxx)
