14. Maintenance
Cleaning or replacing if necessary
14.1 Close both water flow volume regulators (a) SW 3.
14.2 Drain the fitting.
14.3 Use an SW 22 open-end spanner to unscrew and remove the aerator.
14.4 Clean the aerator or replace it if necessary.
Replacing the return-flow inhibitor
14.5 Close both water flow volume regulators (see Chapter 14.1 ).
14.6 Drain the fitting (see Chapter 14.2 ).
14.7 Remove the union nuts.
14.8 Pull off the fitting.
14.9 Use an SW 12 Allan key to unscrew the seating completely.
14.10 Remove the defective return-flow inhibitor and replace it with a new one.
14.11 Reassemble in the reverse order.

Important!!
Make absolutely sure to install the return-flow inhibitor pointing in the right direction.
Replacing the mesh washers
14.12 Close both water flow volume regulators (see Chapter 14.1 ).
14.13 Drain the fitting (see Chapter 14.2 ).
14.14 Remove the union nuts.
14.15 Pull off the fitting.
14.16 Replace the mesh washers (b).
