Grease fi lter maintenance:
1. Unplug the appliance or disconnect the
power supply.
2. Remove the grease fi lters: pull the spring
release handle, then remove the fi lter
downwards.
3. After cleaning the grease fi lter, remount
in reverse order ensuring the entire
extraction surface is covered.
Charcoal fi lter maintenance
1. Remove the grease fi lter (see the
“grease fi lters” section).
2. Place the charcoal fi lter on the grease
fi lter.
3. Lock the charcoal fi lter in position using
the corresponding metal stops, to be
inserted on the frameholes.
4. Re fi t the grease fi lter with the charcoal
fi lter.
Unlike traditional charcoal fi lters, this
charcoal fi lter can be washed and
reactivated.
With normal hood use, the fi lter should
be cleaned once a month. The best way
to clean the fi lter is in a dishwasher at
the highest temperature possible, using a
normal dishwasher detergent.
To avoid particles of food or dirt settling on
the fi lter during washing and giving rise to
unpleasant smells, it is advisable to wash
the fi lter on its own. After washing, dry the
fi lter in the oven at 100°C for 10 minutes to
reactivate it.
The fi lter will retain its odour-absorbing
capacity for three years, after which it will
have to be replaced.
Lamp maintenance
1. Disconnect the hood from the electric
power supply.
2. Insert the blade of a small fl at
screwdriver where indicated by the
three points, and with a gentlepressure
remove the light cover from its position.
3. Remove the faulty lamp and replace
with a new one. Only use 20W MAX -
G4 halogen lamps.
4. Replace the cover (spring lock system).
IMPORTANT : make sure you don’t
touch the lamp with your hands.
