Fibre optic distribution through OPT-TX 15X0 and internet
3.1 Product installation
ATTENTION: A direct optical connection cannot be made between the OPT-TX 15x0 and the
optical receiver. The connection can only be made using optical line attenuators in order to not
exceed the overall input power on the optical receiver.
Check the optical level of the signal on the fi bre using an optical light meter before connecting it
to the optical receiver. The transmitter OPT-TX 15x0 can be wall mounted using the brackets that
are incorporated in the product mechanics. The space is provided for connecting the power lead
and for correct ventilation of the product (see fi gure below).

The OPT-TX 15X0 transmitter has an SC-APC optical connector.
If splitters and taps VOV and VOT series are used, use the SC-APC -> MINI links (PR ADAPT, code
287226) for the connection to the optical distribution.
