PostBase One with PC connection

Specific PC programs from Francotyp-Postalia (NavigatorBasic as well as the option-
ally available applications NavigatorPlus and MailReport) allow you to comfortably
operate the franking system via PC and offer extensive booking, analysing and
reporting features.

This chapter describes the particularities in handling the PostBase One franking sys-
tem when connected to a PC.

For information on NavigatorBasic / NavigatorPlus and MailReport, please visit
our website or contact your local sales agent.

PC Software Mode ON / OFF

You can set up PostBase One in such a way
that frankings are solely possible in connec-
tion with a PC and the specific FP software
(see chapter 14.11, page 93).

This way, you can make sure that every
franking is registered on the PC for further
booking, analysing and managing.

Connect PostBase One to the PC

• Make sure the PC is connected to the frank-

ing machine (

interface) via USB.

• Switch on the PostBase One franking

system.

• If necessary, select a user and enter the

PIN.
