Installation on a mother board
:
•
Unplug your computer and take the battery off.
•
Press the power button and hold it pressed to discharge your device.
•
Take the back panel off your laptop. (Please refer to your computer’s manual).
•
Find the M.2 socket on the motherboard. (Please refer to the manual of your
motherboard).
•
Position the SDD M.2, so that the notches on the SDD align with the corresponding
protrusions in the socket.
•
Insert the SSD M.2 into the M.2 plug with a 45° angle without forcing.
•
Once the SSD is completely inserted into the socket, slightly press onto it to place it
properly. Check that the SSD is parallel to the plug, then fix it with a screw.
•
Once the SSD M.2 properly fixed, close the computer and plug it to the power cable.
•
Switch your computer on.
•
If you did not transfer your data from an existing drive, install your OS, the pilots,
system utilities and programs needed.
•
The installation is now finished.
