Manufacturer’s Tire Registry

Ensure to fill out your name and address on 

the tire registration form provided in your 

owners packet. Mail it to the tire manufacturer 

for the purposes of compliance with Federal 

defect notification regulations. 

Laws.covering.such.items.as.trailer.brakes,.lights,.

safety.chains,.etc.,.will.vary.from.state.to.state...

Please.contact.the.motor.vehicle.department.in.your.

state.for.additional.information..Additionally,.if.select-

ing.a.trailer.from.another.manufacturer,.discuss.these.

requirements.with.them.

B.  Load Carrying Capacity

The certification label shows the maximum load-carry

ing.capacity.and.is.located.on.the.port.forward.side.of.

the.trailer..The.Gross.Vehicle.Weight.Rating.(GVWR).

is.the.load-carrying.capacity.plus.the.weight.of.the.

trailer.itself..DO.NOT.exceed.the.GVWR.rating.for..

the.trailer.

NOTICE

When using or choosing a tow vehicle with 

the correct GVWR, you must consider not 

only the weight of the boat and trailer but also 

the weight of the fuel, water, equipment, etc.  

Refer to Table  below.
