Fitting new propellers

Left handed propeller
1. Identify the correct propeller (Left or
Right) that needs to be replaced.
2. Remove the damaged propeller,
by holding the motor in one hand to
prevent it from turning, and with the
other hand turn the propeller either
anti clockwise, or clockwise accordingly.

3. Turn the propeller until the securing
nut become free.
4. Fit the new propeller onto the motor
ensuring it is in the correct orientation.
Fit the securing nut onto the motor
shaft by gently turning and into the nut
shaped recess on the top of the
propeller. Rotate the nut and propeller
until it is hand tight. The nut will self
tighten upon propeller start up.
The Fotokite uses two types of propller; left handed propeller, and right handed propeller. These must be fitted to the correct motor for the Fotokite to
fly. Each Propeller turns in a diferent direction, and as such has to be unmounted from the Flight Frame by turning in the opposite direction.
To remove a left handed propeller, turn it clockwise. To remove a right handed propeller turn it counter-clockwise.
