Safe Lifting Points
Lifting point locations, especially bores for load hooks are
marked on the device.
Make Sure all load hooks and slings are fully installed in
the Lifting Point.
Thus, the safe transport of the equipment is ensured.

Lifting arrangement
Fasten the lifting material on SDL lifting points.
Lift the SDL slightly to tension the lifting material.

1. Lift the SDL.
2. Move the SDL to the installation location.
3. Set the SDL down carefully on a suitable surface.

Mounting the SDL to elevator links
Preparation
1. Remove the transport packaging and transport aids
from the SDL.
2. Install the approbate bushings to the SDL in order to
ensure safe hoisting.
3. Position the SDL on the rig near the links.
Mounting the SDL to elevator links
1. Place the elevator on a plane surface.
2. After the elevator has been placed on the ground
the link adapter
can be opened.
3. Move Link block stake upwards.
4. Move the lower opening of the links over the lifting
ears of the SDL.
5. Tighten screws with 231 lbf-ft / 313 Nm.
6. Place and secure the joint with the safety spring.
