Troubleshooting and Repair
Problem Possible cause Correction
Hopper needs to travel
farther
Adjust outbound limit
switch toward customer.
Max travel is 17 ¾” from
outside wall.
When teller pushes the
outbound switch the
hopper starts out but
stops and backs up
Safety switch is being
activated
Clear obstruction
Hopper will not come in
when customer pushes
the customer send.
Make sure switch is working Test Switch
Hopper goes out and will
not stop unless you
release switch
Outbound limit switch is
defective or out of adjustment Adjust or replace switch
Hopper comes in and will

Inbound limit switch is

Heater will not come on
Check to see if switch
indicator is on.
If indicator is on check
power to heater assembly.
If indicator is off check fuse
as well as thermostat
Check thermostat located
under the rear cross member
