It is recommended that 2 people are involved
in this step. Using a step ladder lift the fan
assembly with the canopy attached, find a
secure place (preferably a joist) and using a
wood screw and washer (not supplied) secure
the safety cable to it. Adjust the slack of the
safety cable using the clamp. Even though
this step is not required in the US, this eases
the installation process.
Gently insert the receiver into the Mounting Bracket with the
flat part towards the top. Carefully push wires and wire
connectors into the electric box leaving the antenna and
connectors outside of the Mounting Bracket.
Spliced conductors should be turned upward and pushed carefully up into outlet
box. The wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the
equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box.

Lift the Motor Assembly aligning the slot with the
screws (one on each side) you left loose in the
Mounting Bracket.
Once they engage twist the Motor Assembly
clockwise.
Insert the two screws you took out in the holes that
should be aligned with the threaded holes in the
Mounting Bracket.
Tighten SECURELY ALL SCREWS. ENSURE that
wires have not been compressed by the Canopy
