INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR ABSOLUTE DIGITAL SNAP MICROMETER (603-025)
Operation
On/Off Key
Press and release: Power ON/OFF
ABS/ZERO
Press and release: LCD will always display 0.000mm and INC
Press and hold: System will return to absolute measuring made. (System will work under
absolute measuring mode when power on).
inch/mm
Press and release: Metric/inch conversion, (mm will appear for metric reading, in will
appear for inch reading)
ORIGIN
Press and hold: for 3 seconds or so. Origin will be set for absolute measuring; once origin
is set it, wall ways exists even if you change the battery.
Power
Use a CR2032 battery and replace the battery when the displays
Remove the battery cap by turning it counterclockwise with a coin or the supplied S type
wrench.
Insert a new battery with (+) side up. Replace the battery cap by turning it clockwise.
Data Output
The output interface is a standard RS-232.
The micrometer can be connected to a Pc s USB port by an SPC cable.
To connect the cable, remove the data output cap and insert the plug of cable.
When not using the interface, always keep the data output cap in place.
