Lay the parts on a flat surface to help with accuracy.
Place 2 posts onto the matching half lap joint as shown above.
Ensure all of
the faces are
flush and screw into place with 60mm screws.
Repeat this process with the other 2 posts.
Place a fascia board onto the 70 x 70mm frame. Ensure the
one end is flush with the side of the 70 x 70mm post.
This will result
in the opposite end protruding out. Before screwing, ensure the
fascia board is overhanging the top of the frame by 45mm.
Then
screw into place. Repeat the process for the other set of posts and frame.

Stand all of the posts up with the fascia boards facing outwards.
Screw the other 2 fascia boards onto the fascia boards already
secured.
This will create a completed square shape.
Ensure all fascia boards are flush at each corner and at matching heights.
Screw at the meeting faces.
