CARE & MAINTENANCE
Clean furniture frame with wet towel using mild soap and water solution. Dry completely with soft towel. Clean cushions
and sling seat material with a mild solution of soap and water, and hang cushions to drip dry completely. Store them in
a clean dry area of your home. Do not use bleach or strong solvents to clean any of your patio furniture. It will harm
both stone top and metal finishes. Caution should be used when using oils, lotions and other chemicals such as chlorine
or repeated exposure to extreme weather conditions (including heat), which may cause permanent discoloration to the
fabric. To maintain and protect the furniture, always cover it with an outdoor furniture cover or store in a safe area when
not in use for long periods of time.
Important Information Regarding the Natural Stone Tabletop
Properties of Natural Stone
Natural stone is a durable organic material inherently porous and possesses natural characteristics such as variations in
texture, color and finish, which add to the uniqueness and beauty of it. If properly maintained it will last forever. All of
our stone tabletops are sealed with a high quality sealant at the factory to prevent moisture penetration and staining of
the tabletop. Due to it’s porous nature, natural stone retains heat. Thus, caution should be used when handling the
natural stone tabletop when subjected to lengthy exposure to the sun.
Stone Care & Maintenance
Stone Cleaning
Clean the stone tabletop using a clean soft cloth (one that will not bleed color) or sponge and a mild solution of dish
soap and water. Do not use bleach, strong solvents, or scouring creams, abrasive cleaners, acid or petroleum based
products. Do not use alkaline-based products (ex. ammonia, baking soda, borax), unless they are specially formulated
for use on natural stone or marble. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water to remove all soap residues and dry com-
pletely with a clean cloth to prevent residue from mineral build up present in your water.

Natural stone and grout sealers, available at any home improvement stores are sufficient. Stone enhancers are also
available, that can seal the top and enhance the stone colors. Stone enhancers should not be used as a substitution for
a great sealer. Both products are easy to use, and take only a few minutes to apply.
Stone Maintenance
Although, the stone tabletop is sealed, it is import to clean-up spills immediately to prevent possible staining and dam-
age to the stone. Blot spill with clean cloth and clean area with a mild dish soap and water and rinse thoroughly. Dry
completely with clean cloth. The sealant acts as a barrier to minimize possible damage and provide more time for
cleaning up. Always use coasters and place mats when dining to help protect the sealer finish. Coasters help absorb
the moisture from the beverage glass and prevent ring stains. Placemats prevent dishes from scratching the table.
Never put hot items directly on the stone tabletop. Always use trivets, mats or hot pads. To maintain and protect the
furniture, always cover it with an outdoor furniture cover or store in a safe area when not in use for long periods of time.
Furniture covers are available at most patio shops, home improvement centers and outdoor patio furniture retailers. It is
recommended that you store your stone table indoors in a safe area during the winter months to prevent possible
cracking from extreme cold.
