Installing parallel guide (Fig. 4)
You can use the parallel guide as a guide for planer. Draw a cutting line on
the work piece. Fit the parallel guide and align the blade edge with the cutting
line .Adjust the Knob of parallel guide (1) until it comes in contact with the side
of the work piece then secure it by tightening it.

Drive belt replacement (Fig. 5, 6, 7, 8)
Use a screwdriver (a) to remove the belt cover (6) by unscrewing the mounting
bolt (see Fig. 5).

Wear the gloves, turn the driven pulley by one hand slowly and pull the bell out
by another hand until the belt fall out of the pulley (see Fig 6, 7).
To install the belt, it is just other way round. (see Fig. 8)

Sharpening the blades (Fig. 9, 10)
Use of Blade Sharpening Ass'y
As shown in Fig. 9, four blades can be mounted on the blade sharpening ass'y to
ensure that the blade tips are ground at uniform angles. During grinding, adjust
the position of the blades so that their edges simultaneously contact the
dressing stone as shown in Fig. 10.

Blade sharpening intervals depend on the type of wood being cut and the cutting
depth. However, sharpening should generally be effected after each 500 meters
of cutting operation.

Depth balance adjustment for blades (Fig. 11)
Description:
As shown in Fig. 2, use the box wrench to loosen the three bolts used to retain
the blade, and remove the blade assembly (b) from the blade holder of the tool.
(Refer to section “Removing or installing planer blades”)
Put the blade assembly (b) onto the blade holder (e), loosen the fixed screws
(a) and adjust the blade to parallel with the clip plate and keep it, tighten the
fixed screws firmly.

Screw the adjustment screws (d) to make the inside of adjustment plate to
locate next to the blade.
