Service 

ƒ

 

Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical 

replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is 

maintained.

SPECIFIC SAFETY WARNINGS FOR CIRCULAR SAWS 

ƒ

 

Keep hands away from cutting area and blade. Keep your second hand on 

auxiliary handle or motor housing.  

ƒ

 

Do not reach underneath the workpiece.  

ƒ

 

Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece.  

ƒ

 

Never hold piece being cut in your hands or across your leg. Secure the 

workpiece to a stable platform.  

ƒ

 

Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation 

where the cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.  

ƒ

 

When ripping always use a rip fence or straight edge guide.  

ƒ

 

Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of 

arbor holes.  

ƒ

 

Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolt.

ASSEMBLY 

7.1

 

Replacing the saw blade 

Only use sharp and undamaged saw blades. Cracked or bent saw blades must be 

replaced immediately. 

ƒ

 

Place the circular saw on its side on a flat surface 

ƒ

 

Rotate the saw blade by hand while depressing the spindle locking button until 

the blade is locked.  Turn the blade Hex bolt anti-clockwise using the hex key. 

ƒ

 

Remove the flange. 

ƒ

 

Raise the guard by using the lever guard and then remove the saw blade. 

ƒ

 

Remove the old saw blade and place the new saw blade with the teeth pointing 

in the direction of rotation. See the arrow on the housing. 

ƒ

 

Move the saw blade guard back into its normal position. 

ƒ

 

Place the flange on the saw blade and secure the fixing screw. 

Before replacing the saw blade always unplug the tool. 

ƒ

 

Do not use saw blades made of HSS steel. Make sure that the spindle diameter 

corresponds to the bore diameter.
