How to Arm the System

1. Remove the key from the ignition

switch.

2. Close the bonnet. Then close and lock

all doors and the back door from the
outside using the key. The hazard
warning lights will flash once to
indicate that the system is armed.

3. The indicator light flashes once every 3

seconds to indicate that the system is
fully armed. It continues to flash until
the theft-deterrent system is turned off.

To Turn off an Armed System

An armed system can be turned off by any
one of the following methods:

Unlock a door or the back door with
the key.

Insert the key into the ignition switch
and turn it to the ON position.

The hazard warning lights will flash twice
to indicate that the system is turned off.

To Stop an Alarm

To stop a triggered alarm, unlock a door
or the back door with the key.

NOTE

If you have any problem with the theft-
deterrent system, consult an Authorised
Ford Repairer.
