In extremely cold weather, typically below -26°C (-15°F) and

if the engine block heater is not utilized, your engine will not

respond to accelerator pedal movement for 30 seconds. This

restriction allows your engine to circulate the oil properly in

order to avoid engine damage.

Drive the vehicle for 20 minutes with an average speed of

60 km/h (37 mph). The message changes to Exhaust Filter

Cleaning then clears itself under suitable driving conditions.

If illuminated, the service engine soon light turns off following

the third key cycle.
