5. Environment for the angle measurement
5.1. Flexible pre-set mode
Step 1: Press the button „C“ to switch on the device.
Step 2: After switching on the device press onto the button „upwards“ to
increase the angle value.
Step 3: Press the button „downwards“ to reduce the angle value.
5.2. Measuring mode
Step 1: Press the button „+“ to count up the angle degree.
Step 2: The rotation angle measuring device automatically detects the
direction when being in measuring modus and the LCD-display shows the
actually used angle.
Step 3: Reset the opposite side to more than 5°. The LCD-display starts
fl ashing and fi nishes the counting up of the angle degree.
Step 4: Place the device with tension and keep it aligned into the same
direction. Press the button „+“ in order to count up the angle degree.
Step 5: In order to add the second mouvement, go back to the the starting
point and remove – with little effort – the backlash of the tool. Then press the
button „+“ in order to count up the total angle degree and add it to the fi rst
movement
6. Memory mode
Step 1: Press the “M” button to start the memory mode.
Step 2: Press “upwards” resp. “downwards” to search for stored values.
Step 3: Press the “M” button to exit the memory mode.
7. Overload
If the angle measurement exceeds the maxiumum value of 999°, then this value
stops the counting up of the angle measurements and the LCD-display shows
“FULL”. Press “C” to clear the reading.

Operation mode: 60 hrs
Standby mode: 1 year
CAUTION
1.
The rotation angle measuring device should be set with a compensation value
of 8 degrees when used horizontally. (image 1).
2.
In case the rotation angle measuring device is used at a fl exible tool,
a compensation value of 8 degrees should be set when used vertically (image 2) .
